Last Sunday, several members of the Maryland Lady Shooting Stars were recognized by the Maryland Amateur Athletic Association as 2008 Outstanding Athletes. The young ladies were honored for their respective teams’ success last year at the National Tournament. This year’s honorees were selected by their respective coaches for their individual roles, contributions, and accomplishments that elevated their teams’ play in national competition. Congratulations to these young ladies for an honor well deserved.
